A RESIDENT of Cherry Trees Nursing Home in Oversley Green recently celebrated her 100th birthday with her family.
Eileen Day, who has been a resident at the home for the last three years, was joined by her son Peter and two grandsons, Simon and Nigel, for a celebratory tea party.
Cherry Trees staff member, Liz Southall, said: "She's been here for quite a while and she's a lovely lady."

Eileen was born into a military family in Aldershot before moving to Cardiff when her father left the army. She married her husband Eric in 1934 and spent most of her life in Ashford in Middlesex, even after Eric's death in 1976.
Her son Peter moved to Bidford 17 years ago, and when Eileen turned 96 he brought her to live closer to him.
Speaking before the weekend, he said: "She was a full-time mum, and she's a very good mum. My son lives in Boston in the States and he's coming over with his wife for her birthday. My other son lives in Twickenham and he's also coming up."
The family spent the day together enjoying a birthday tea.
