It also offers travel itineraries that could be followed verbatim or modified depending on the visitor's interests, regardless of if they are searching for a family holiday, heritage-rich weekend, or a gastronomical journey.

Visitor economy manager for the county tourism organisation, Lorna Robinson, said: "Our Visitor Guide is a great way of telling our visitors Worcestershire’s story.

"It is a great travel companion to have, and perfect for planning your summer staycation."

50,000 copies of the guide have been sent out across Worcestershire and surrounding areas.

Potential tourists can also read the guide digitally, on the official Visit Worcestershire tourism website under the 'Explore' tab.

Physical copies are available at local Tourism Information Centres.
