Club to extend fitness sessions
REDDITCH YMCA's Fit for Life club has been inundated with inquiries from people wanting to improve their fitness following an article about the service in the Advertiser.
Tim Cowell, Redditch YMCA's fitness and nutrition instructor said: "I was delighted to get so many inquiries, particularly from people who wanted to exercise at times other than those we had originally proposed.
"So we are extending our fitness programme by introducing several new clubs at the Community Centre in Church Hill's precinct."
For ladies who want light exercise and aerobics, there will be Fit for Life on Tuesdays from 1.30-2.30pm and on Thursdays, from 9.10-10.10am (cost £1.50 per session).
For those wanting help in losing weight, there will be a slimming club on Thursdays from 10.30-11.30am (cost £2.50 per session).
For all people aged over 16, there will be two clubs on Wednesday evenings.
From 7.15-8.15pm, there will be a further Fit for Life exercise club. For those wanting a little more, there will be a stress buster class from 8.30-9.30pm which will include boxercise, kick boxercise and punch bag work. Both cost £2 per session.
Spaces are limited so will be awarded on a first come first served basis. For more information or to book, call Redditch YMCA on 61643 extension 201.
